The Honeywell ScanPal EDA71 is an enterprise-ready 7-inch rugged tablet designed for retail, grocery, DSD, field service, transportation and logistics use cases. It combines a 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM450 8-core processor, a 7-inch Corning Gorilla Glass display (1280 x 720), 2 or 4 GB of RAM with 32 or 64 GB of flash storage, a 13-megapixel camera, and a choice of two 1D/2D imager scan engines (N3601 or N6703).

It runs Android 8 (Oreo), upgradeable to Android P and Q, and offers 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and multi-band WWAN connectivity. The tablet is IP64 rated, withstands 1.2 m (4 ft) drops to concrete, and is powered by a standard 4000 mAh battery or an optional 8850 mAh extended battery.
