The ZD611D PREMIUM DESKTOP 2-INCH WIDE HEALTHCARE from Zebra is a direct thermal desktop label printer in a healthcare version. It is used for patient identification, specimen labelling and wristband printing.

The healthcare housing withstands hospital disinfectants, which crack standard plastics within months.

Direct thermal avoids the ribbon and simplifies operation, but the print fades with heat and light. It suits short-life labels.
